Jared Zeff, ND, LAc

Naturopathic physician, acupuncturist, teacher, and clinical traditionalist whose work helped shape naturopathic medical education and theory.

Clinical Identity

A classical naturopathic physician and teacher

Dr. Jared Zeff is a licensed doctor of naturopathic medicine and a licensed acupuncturist. In addition to maintaining private practice, he teaches at Bastyr University’s College of Naturopathic Medicine in Seattle.

He practiced as a traditionalist, grounded in a classical form of naturopathic medicine.

Clinical Practice

Family medicine, obstetrics, and chronic disease

Dr. Zeff began private practice in McMinnville, Oregon, with an emphasis on obstetrics and family medicine. In 1993 he moved his practice to the Portland area, and in 2001 to Vancouver.

His work later came to focus primarily on chronic disease.

Contribution to the Profession

Recognition for naturopathic clinical theory and education

He was named Naturopathic Physician of the Year in 1989 for his contribution to the development of naturopathic clinical theory.

In 2002 he received the first Lifetime Achievement Award of the Northwest Naturopathic Physicians Association for his contributions to naturopathic medical education.
